No, sorry, not a new post but only an AMA. I figured I haven’t done one in a while and since I’m off for two months or less then we can do one now. Fire away and I’ll answer to the best of my abilities BUT… I have a few questions of my own for you. If you don’t mind, I would love to spin this into a two-way street. You don’t have to answer all if you don’t want to, totally up to you.

10.Define love. What does love mean to you? Putting others wants and needs before your own, not always liking someone or something but never giving up, etc

7.What is your favourite topic to read about? (can be on a fiction or non-fiction platform). -Honestly…. just about everything. I really enjoy reading 'chicklit'/romance/relationship-centric novels probably the most because they're usually fast-paced and an easy read, but also like reading suspense, mystery, action/adventure, etc. when I have time.
8.Which of the characters are you loving right now from any of my blogs? Which of the characters do you just want to shake them by the shoulders, slap them silly and say, “wake up!” lol (can be anyone!). – I think Anna could use a swift kick in the shins most days. haha
9.Who\what inspires you? – My parents and my husband. They all make me what to be a better person every day. Maybe not all day, every day. But, every day.
10.Define love. What does love mean to you? – Love is unconditional and without bounds.

No I haven’t gotten these questions before (I don’t think).
Favourite places: Egypt, New York, London, Chicago (didn’t get a chance to explore Chicago as much but hoping to go back one day).
Three things on an island: Unlimited supply of Haruki Murakami books, Helene Grimaud and a grand piano for her to play classical music, and a super comfy bed complete with pillows and a blanket that will never go bad. I sort of cheated lol.
Worst gift: I got my ex-boyfriend a ukele for his birthday because his broke and it meant a lot to him, with stuffed animals as a running joke between us; he got me a car air freshener.
Favourite movie: I’d probably say Galaxy Quest. It’s the only movie ever to have me laughing from beginning to end. Actors are great, acting is great, humour, writing, idea, everything is great!
Good looking or rich: Assuming that good looking still comes with brains (?), I’m going to say good-looking. No wait…rich, if I just look like me, I don’t mind lol. Oh hell, I’ll cheat with this question too: I’ll be good-looking and become rich off of my looks lol! 😛

13 Reasons Why is so so so good! Way better than I initially thought it would be, which is a pleasant surprise! Highly recommend it. I actually did not know they were turning it into a movie, so that is fun to know!! Hopefully it won’t be as bad as some of the novel-turned-movie creations that have been released in the past!

I’ve always wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids, but I don’t know if that will ever happen considering their more recent state of affairs on that side of the world (if you know what I mean!).
I don’t think the movie is happening anymore. It’s been so long since I heard any new news. I do remember it being a good book though.

Yeah, it was so bad, but I'm glad it made someone laugh lol. I don't even know if it was a birthday gift or not, but I think it was. Looking back it's quite funny and I actually like making people laugh about it or see whatever their reaction is when I tell them.
Egypt is still good. I don't know how to explain it other than to say it's not as bad. You just have to be knowledgeable before you go. As with every foreign region.

Oh good! I was a little unsure of putting one up but so far so good! 🙂
My novel: OMG! I’m so frustrated lol! I’d say I’m about halfway, 9 chapters in and +25K words, but I’ve stalled. It’s so annoying. I have a list of editors and agencies I can choose from so that’s the bright side. I think I’ve just stalled because ch.10 is a big point and I don’t want to screw it up. I’m just like @_@. Timing-wise, I’m hoping the short term goal of two months will push me to finish it so I can send it off already.
None of my friends or family read my blogs. I’ve told a couple friends about it at one point or another, but one friend, she just paid no mind to it lol and another, he saw it and was like whoa lol it was a little awkward for a bit but it was fine afterwards. He nearly told everyone at a party once, most of them I didn’t know, most of them guys lol! I’ve showed a date once before I went out with him: big mistake lol. Other than that, nope, I don’t think so.
Pretty much the blogs from my blog roll are either ones I’m reading or have read. Hot Mess IHH I read as well. I comment there too. I’ve had ones that I jump in and out of reading as well, like Modern Day Faith. There was this other blog, also written by an Australian, about her sexventures, but she stopped as well.

Yes, well, I’m hoping to go back to NYC during New Year’s but the person who has to approve of my leave looks down on everyone so I don’t know if she’ll ever give me the go. In that case, I may quit, but we’ll see lol. I need to save money first!!
Oh man, I hate summer. But summer in Australia is different. My heritage is of a desert country, but the heat over there is much better than the heat in Oz, even though I’m born and raised here lol. It’s crazy here. The only thing I like about summer, is that going in the water–beach, pool, etc.–feels soooooooo unbelievably satisfying. Other than that, man, summer hates me lol!

11. Define love. What does love mean to you? Being able to appreciate someone exactly as they are, as if they’d never met you and had yet to undergo any of your influence. I don’t equate love with successful relationships, though. For those, there has to be a lot more selflessness involved.
